How do I change out the starter from a 87 Supra with the 7mgte engine?

Its an 87 Supra with 7mgte and automatic transmission. Somebody told me that i need to separate the tranny from the engine to get to it.How do I change out the starter from a 87 Supra with the 7mgte engine?
it's prety straight forward if you have a lift its a lot easier jus look where the old one is a nd move every thing thats in the way and yeah you will probably have to take out the transmissionHow do I change out the starter from a 87 Supra with the 7mgte engine?
