are you sure it's the starter, because i have a truck that i have 2 play with by turning the key on and off.. and the garage man said it's not the starter but a safety button misfiring or something.. also been told that a lot of keys on a key chain will ruin the starter from key weight.. and thats all i know about a starter : )How long does it take to change a starter on a Ford F-150?
if you already have starter its 5-10 minute job most starters are 2 wires and two bolts remember to disconnect battery because you will arc to the frame with the wrench loosening bolt holding the power cable to the starter if it touches
