How to change a starter in a 1993 crown victoria?

first disconnect the negative battery cable, then raise the car up, get under it and look by the oil pan, the starer should be at the back of the engine on the bottom, it is by the tranny, then un-bolt it from the engine, pull it out toward the rear of the car to get the nosecone out of the housing, as you are unbolting it keep it supported while you un-bolt the wires from the solenoid, with it off you can either have it rebuilt or just replace itHow to change a starter in a 1993 crown victoria?

with a very long extension, small ratches, and very long will power... there are three screws holding the starter on, one is easy, one can be gotten with a wrench and the nightmare is the one that you have to feel for and use what I have up there
