How to change the starter on a 85 GMC jimmy 4x4 ?

need to change the starter on my 85 jimmy 4x4 with the 2.8 v6 I have been told I have to lossen the motor mound to get the starter out is this true and how long should it take.How to change the starter on a 85 GMC jimmy 4x4 ?
Remove the bolt on the motor mount Only the side that the starter is on first then get a floor jack and a block of wood using the jack and wood to raise the engine from the bottom

this will tilt the engine to one side allowing the clearance needed to pull the starter out. then just start removing the starter



it should take 2 hr or less if you prep your tools needed first.How to change the starter on a 85 GMC jimmy 4x4 ?
It's true, and it took us a good 2 hours to get it off. But I'm kind of a dill.
