Prizm ready for cold weather?

My sister recently got a job in Appleton, Wisconsin and Im somewhat concerned about her car. It is a 1996 Prizm, with 130,000 miles on it. Currently the car was in Columbus, Oh its entire 13 years of life, and had oil changes done every 3,000 miles or less. We changed the starter changed at about 110,000 miles, and the timing belt changed at 129,000. Im just worried that the cold Wisconsin weather might play dirty with the car. How much longer do you think this car can withstand before she has to replace it? I mean so far it been great, super reliable, it even started after a few tries when the starter broke. Any comments, or recommendations will be much appreciated!Prizm ready for cold weather?
Hi, I think my first priority would be to check the strength of the antifreeze in the coolant, and make sure it had at least a 50/50 mix, or whatever the manufacturer suggests. Also, have a good look at the tires, make sure they have plenty of tread depth left, and check the spare as well (often gets forgotten until it's needed!)

It might be a good idea to treat the car to an engine oil and filter change, unless this has been done recently.

Hope this helps, please tell your sister Good Luck with the new job!Prizm ready for cold weather?
Just make sure the coolant is good. Dont worrying about replacing the car anytime soon Ive had several Prizm's and they have all lasted over 200,000 miles without any major going wrong.
